in-cosmetics Brasil, Sao Paulo, September 2014

in-cosmetics Brasil, Sao Paulo, September 2014

After our successful UK pavilion at in-cosmetics in Hamburg the show organisers announced the launch of in-cosmetics brasil in Sao Paulo for September 2014. Brazil is the 3rd largest consumer market for beauty products with Brazilian manufacturers importing most of the ingredients. Brazil is not, however, a market for novice exporters.

Exhibiting at the first edition of any trade show, whether completely new or a spin-out edition of an already successful show, combines excitement at the prospect of new business with a concern that the show is too new to attract the visitor numbers of more established shows.  It was therefore important, especially for this long-haul market, to create a cost-effective group presence justifiable for market research purposes.

Working with 4 UK companies  we delivered our traditional in-line stand but went for a quirky, cartoon-based, “welcome on board” design with the flight check-in desk acting as stand reception. This integrated look with individual company messages and eye-catching images achieved our goal of making passers-by stop, stare and then engage with stand delegates.  For this long-haul market we recommended flight choices and organised group accommodation. Exhibitor profiles were also translated into Brazilian Portuguese.

Tomorrow The World was on site to ensure the stand build ran smoothly and brokered in the support of Denise, from UKTI in Porto Alegre, to help remove language barriers for enquiries and facilitate and interpret at meetings during the show.

Chemspec India, Mumbai, April 2014

Chemspec India, Mumbai, April 2014

For 2014, the 10th anniversary of the show, the Chemspec India team were keen to attract UK exhibitors offering services as well as innovative products and technologies to Indian chemical manufacturers.

We worked with 3 small UK companies, who were new-to-show and new to the Indian market, to create a cost-effective exhibitor package enabling them to research the potential interest from the Indian market whilst enjoying additional, profile-enhancing promotion as part of a UK exhibition stand.  We delivered our tried-and-tested, in-line stand with an integrated look yet individual company messages. Additionally, we assisted with their travel, accommodation and visa requirements. Tomorrow The World was also on site to ensure the stand build ran smoothly and to take enquiries and facilitate meetings for stand delegates during the show.

in-cosmetics, Hamburg, April 2014

in-cosmetics, Hamburg, April 2014

Working with the Chemical Industries Association we organised the UK pavilion at in-cosmetics 2014 in Hamburg (the home of Beiersdorf!). in-cosmetics is the leading global platform for personal care ingredients and a great event to showcase innovative cosmetics ingredients, services and technologies.

For small, innovative technology companies providing products and services to various end-industries, it is not possible to exhibit at all the key trade shows, especially when minimum stand space and expensive price-per-square-metre conditions exist.  Taking space on a shared stand, especially one promoted by the Chemical Industries Association and the chemicals team at the British Consulate-General, Dusseldorf, represented excellent value for money.

The result was a bright, open plan stand with an attractive, quintessentially British design that toned in with the colour scheme of the show. We fine-tuned the exhibitor messages to be relevant to the cosmetics and personal care industry and built in eye-catching images allowing passers-by to understand, at a glance, what each company was offering. Tomorrow The World was also present to make sure the stand-build ran smoothly as well as take enquiries and facilitate meetings for stand delegates during the show.

CropWorld Global, Amsterdam, October 2013

CropWorld Global, Amsterdam, October 2013

In 2013 CropWorld Global moved to Amsterdam for the first time.  Evolving into a peripatetic event risks the loss of those exhibitors just serving a “home” market but hopes to gain exhibitors serving multiple export markets and willing to follow the show to new locations each year.

Tomorrow The World showed loyalty to this sustainable crop production conference by using its expertise, both in developing export markets as well as event organisation, to promote a cost-effective, group exhibitor package to UK companies wishing to follow the event across the North Sea.

The result was our tried-and-tested, simple, in-line stand achieving an integrated look yet with individual company messages. For the first time Tomorrow The World also took a space on the group stand. This not only helped to facilitate footfall and meetings for the exhibiting companies, but also to engage with UK visitors to the show (many of whom had exhibited with us at London 2012) to gauge their interest in coming on board for future European editions – wherever this peripatetic show may land.

Chemspec Asia, Bangkok, September 2013

Chemspec Asia, Bangkok, September 2013

2013 saw the first edition of Chemspec Asia – a spin-out from the successful Chemspec Europe international exhibition for fine and speciality chemicals.  Tomorrow the World acted on the interest of 4 UK companies who were at a level of exporting expertise to showcase their products and services to the ASEAN region.

Exhibiting at the first edition of any trade show, whether completely new or a spin-out edition of an already successful show, combines excitement at the prospect of new business with a concern that the show is too new to attract the visitor numbers you are used too.  It was therefore important, especially for this long-haul market, to create a cost-effective group presence justifiable for market research purposes. The result was a simple in-line stand achieving an integrated look yet with individual company messages. A one-page advert, promoting the UK stand and its companies, was also created for publication in the show catalogue.

CropWorld Global, London, November 2012

CropWorld Global, London, November 2012

Tomorrow the World was pleased to enhance the profile of 7 UK chemical companies at the UK edition of CropWorld Global – an international congress and exhibition focused on the business, trade, science and technology for sustainable crop production.

Each company served several end-application industries which, in turn, also had their own key conferences and exhibitions. Despite the 2012 event taking place on “home soil” at the QEII Conference Centre, London it was, therefore, still important to design a cost-effective, shared exhibitor presence that wouldn’t devour these companies’ marketing budgets.  The result was a simple in-line stand achieving an integrated look yet with individual company messages.
